the-dalester Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Does anybody else have trouble with there interior light in the ep-91 starlet?myn doesnt cum on wen u open the door and it doesnt always cum on wen its switched 2 the on position, i have 2 take the plastic cover off and mess with the bulb 2 make it cum on.do u reckon i need a new interior light unit?anybody got 1 they dont want?cheers every1! Starletraje Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 had this problem. unscrew the switch from the door, clean it, spray some WD-40 on it and put it back on, leave it for a bit and then try it, should work. if not then i dunno, guess you need a new one. Quote

nic1.3 Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 hey mate i had this problem the contacts on the switch were rusted on mine....soldered a bit of wire on to bypass the rusty bit...works a treat now. either on off or or set to work with the door Quote

SiCaln Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 these are always a bit naff in the eps, your best pulling off the cover and bending the pins retaining the bulb inwards slightly to hopefully create a tighter grip on the bulb Quote
