ste91
I've got my clear indicators now (thanks Phil) and just went to "trial fit them" (wasn't gonna leave them on yet), and there's me thinking I had orange bulbs it turns out they're normal white bulbs. So I had a look around ebay/halfords/google for silvertec bulbs and it's coming up with all different things like 581 and 382...Does anyone know which ones it needs? shelly_star
What u are getting confused about is the model of the bulbs. I'll try and explain. Right, 382 means, the pins on the base sit dead opposite each other ok, and 581 if you look on your bulb, they are not dead facing each other (should be like a slight V shape), this means they are offset. So i think they front ones on our cars are the offset one, which is the 581. Go take out your bulb, and have a look and see if they are like this when u look at the base, look at the pins sticking out http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CHROME-SILVER-581-BA...1QQcmdZViewItemHope you understand what iam on about. ste91
Thanks shelly I'll go and check it in a while, can't be arsed doing it while all the kids are coming out of school.
ste91
Checked them and they're 382, I've bought some for £6. Hate lifting the bonnet in the street, there's a garage literally two doors away from my house and it looks like you're some dodgy half-assed mechanic who works there or something
