SERIOUS HELP NEEDED!*REV COUNTER*

Any one fitted an aftermarket rev counter, need some serious help and possibly a guide, i did look on the tutorials but there was nout:(

Wel basically.. how do i wire it up mate? is there already a connector for it? or will i have to do all the wiring?

you will have to do the wiring mate if its an aftermarket tacho

its usually four wires..........

red = a switch 12v (something that only comes on when the ignition is turned)

black = earth

white = dash lights (for the back light)

green = rpm signal/ ignition coil (which can be taken from the diagnostics box)

its not major difficult really but you will need to know a little about wiring.

wired in a mp sub n 6x9s, and put a switch in a circuit for my led 6x9 covers?

i no what your saying, but not sure where i would put the wires exactly, i no where you are talking about for each of them , but not sure where i would put the wires if u understand?!?

no pics mate im afraid. the best way to do it is to wire in near your fuse box under the drivers side. ie, find the fuse for the headlights and follow the wires.

if you buy the tacho it will more than likely have fitting insructions to help you out.

the wires will need to be spliced into other wires

you may be best taking it somewhere if your not sure. im sure places that fits alarms or car sterios may do it.

dont bother taking the rpm signal off the coil take it off the ecu, its easier...
