as the title says.

i possibly will be coming into a bit of money soon like 5 grand as my mums gonna pay all my credit card and loan off. i could ither clear it all off or keep lets say 2 grand.

all in all i have about 4 grands debt due to mostly my car lol as i got the car on a loan.

so my mum will still give me the 5 grand or she is going to help me move out and pay for me to have my own place on rent not the house lol but if that doesnt happen then she will ive me the 5 grand lump sum. im so tempted to put most of it back towards my debt and spend the money on the car what do you guys think and what would you get for 2 grand for your car with my mods as i have a front mount, blits dump, hks filter de-cat boost gauge the bodywork is fine as some might now, got alloys so would need to spend it on engine mods and handling. brakes are pretty shit at the mo so would probably get some discs and pads and sort the cv joints out but what else? excuse me for the essay lol

good advice. how much would a cambelt replacement and fitting usually cost. i do give it regular oil changes as most and only use v power petrol but what else could i do on my own which i would be able to handle as im no mechanic but would love to get round paying people to do the work on my car.

I am in the same position, as in having debts due to getting my car on a loan. But luckily I have no problem paying it off, and its under my mums name. But being as I know how much hassle it is forking out £100 a month for a debt, plus my lap top etc. I would use as much as possible to pay off any debts you have.

Then what you have left over to put into your motor.

I wouldnt waste time with the renting a house thing, simply because, if you do have debt it will be twice as hard to pay off that and rent a house. And the money will dissapear quickly. Renting costs alot, and you will find in the long run that its better to pay off any debts first.

Do youself a favour and clear ALL your debt first! That is a very slippery slope once you are on it,so get off while you can, you'll hwve more money in the long run :)

Then put the car straight with whats left.

turns out she is selling the house now as she has had trouble with it like leaks and stuff which just keep returning so she will pay off my debts and she is going to also help me move out . bloody wicked . can actually get my life started afresh. plus my jobs going well at the mo helped out at work and saved the company 10k which is good.

bring on the modding lol
