The Mazda 5 was going to be called the 4, but it was a rude number in Japan, so they had to rename it.

Under full throttle, a Top Fuel dragster engine consumes 6.8 litres (1½ gallons) of nitro methane per second; a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced.

The roof panels on TVR Griffiths and Chimaeras isn't carbon fibre at all. It's regular fibreglass with a veneer of carbon on the inside to make it look nice.

youve been having a butchers of pistonheads too havnt you? :p

and heres another i know

Aparently light clusters are expensive to design and build, so cutting corners :

The MG SV used Fiat Punto front light clusters

The Noble M12 used Mk.1 Mondeo rear light clusters

The TVR Griffith used upside down Mk.3 Cavalier rear light clusters

The TVR S used late model Sierra rear light clusters

The TVR Wedges / Lotus Excel(?) used Rover SD1 light clusters

The TVR Cerbera used Fiesta rear clusters

A Bristol Blenheim uses Vauxhall Senator light clusters.

a volkswagen vr6 has the cylinders banked at 15 degrees making it more of a straight 6 than v6

a Lamborghini Murcielago Reventons instrument cluster is machined from 1 solid piece of billet alluminium

a ferrari f40 has only 1 layer of paint so you can see the carbon fibre weave through the paint

lamboghini diablo uses the same headlights as a 300sx
