Hawaii5hoes
Has anyone else had any experience with these twerps? I contacted OSMAN as he was breaking a glanza, I was after a CT9 turbo. Instead he sold me a turbo for £200 which he said was straight out of a stock Glanza and convinced me it was Toyota turbo. It turned out to be from a 1000cc Nissan Figaro! He knew I travelled some distance to get to him, so he thought he would abuse this and sell me his tat which his has piled up at his EDMONTON garage. All his cars there look dodgy and are all accident repairs. He has a heap of Starlet parts which I guess he intends to sell to young vulnerable starlet owners, but should really be binned by the look of them. i went back to him for a refund/exchange, he tried to give me an exhange with a CT9 turbo which had a compressor wheel with just three fins. He acted as though it was a perfectly normal, stock ct9, which it quite clearly wasn't. I had a look at several other turbos he has for starlets, and all of them just looked wrong. I think he just gets useless turbos and converts them himself to useless tat with a bit of polish. OSMAN tries to act as though he is a innocent trust worthy japanese car specialist, but he is more like con-artist. Bildo
Good to see people getting exposed like this. Also good to see you got your money back and that you don't have to deal with him anymore.Drink money my arse, a pint around the face would be more appropriate. StarletRick
the thing with osman, is he doesnt have a fucking clue what hes doing, he is about as thick as 2 planks of wood. ive been up there a few times, but, i know exactly what im looking for and ive got what i wanted for a good price. id never let him get bits for me, but ive got no problem going up there and having a rummage myself. and as for the money thing, he's just a tight bastard, you just have to bully him on price. i dont think hes doing it on purpose, like i said before, hes as dumb as a post. great garage to have a mooch in though if you know what youre looking for. his dumbness can be helpful. i got a new set of engine mounts for a tenner once ^^ and i got countless little bits and bobs while i was building my block up.you just have to be in the know, and not rely on him for parts knowledge, hes a businessman (albeit a shit one), but not a mechanic. He preys on starlet owners with minimal knowledge about cars (like me), so I hope anyone who may be interested in purchasing from him has a read of this thread first.the thing with osman, is he doesnt have a fucking clue what hes doing, he is about as thick as 2 planks of wood. ive been up there a few times, but, i know exactly what im looking for and ive got what i wanted for a good price. id never let him get bits for me, but ive got no problem going up there and having a rummage myself. and as for the money thing, he's just a tight bastard, you just have to bully him on price. i dont think hes doing it on purpose, like i said before, hes as dumb as a post. great garage to have a mooch in though if you know what youre looking for. his dumbness can be helpful. i got a new set of engine mounts for a tenner once ^^ and i got countless little bits and bobs while i was building my block up.you just have to be in the know, and not rely on him for parts knowledge, hes a businessman (albeit a shit one), but not a mechanic. You hit the nail on the head there. He was acting as though he knows all about starlets, but I think he just gets his knowledge from max power magazine or something. A good conclusion aswell - only buy parts from him if you know your stuff inside out, otherwise stay clear.

Glanza_cl
i went to look at a car there a while ago, got there car didn't look to bad but when i started to look around there was oil all over the engine, when i revved it onto boost nothing but blue smoke piled out the exhaust- he said it had just been sitting around for a while and it just needed a tune, i made my excuses and left rather promptly. some poor bugger was looking at the same car and bought it lol he bought a shitter, but like ricks said there was some interesting bits there that i spotted with my keen eye, you just have to no what to look for.
