Matt's 96 Glanza - Finally

Recommended Posts

After 2 months of searching I found one.

I flew over with Easyjet to Luton where we where picked up by the previous owner, nice chap :)

Then after inspecting it I bought it and on we went, all the way back to Rotterdam.

Here we where waiting for the boat to take us from Dover to Dunekerke.

After a 16 hour day we where finally home around 11pm, but loved every minute of it, love the car!

Options:

Full toyota kit incl duckwing

Climat control

Electric folding mirrors

Electric sunroof (love it)

Extra's:

Black Racing Pro N1 16" black wheels

Koni yellow shocks

Autogauge boostgauge (multi-color, woohoo)

HKS mushroom filter (in a time long long ago it was yellow, now shiney black)

Then after a waiting periode of more then a week last Thursday was finally the day that I could get it registered. After a short MOT i checked out and had to pay 90 quid in taxes (the idiots took the cheapest starlet available and calculated the tax on that, saved me about 100 quid :( )

Now I'm just waiting for the registrationpapers and new plates.

As you might have guessed, i chucked out the Autogauge and replaced it with a HKS gauge:

I've ordered the following parts and hope they get here soon so i can install them:

HKS replacement filters (bright blue)

HKS FCD

Work RS lugnuts (blue)

TRD shiftknob

New gun metal metallic GLANZA stickers for the sides (its easy when you can make them yourself at work) :p

And I still want to order a few more things, but I have some other priorities first (like furniture :p)

New set of headlights

FMIC

HKS Hi-power exhaust

HKS SSQV

Long story, hope I didn't bore you guys :D

And last I have a question, can someone explain this little sticker for me?

That little sticker is explianing what the tyre pressures should be mate.

Although i would ignore it as yours has aftermarket wheels/tyres on it so it wont be the correct pressure.

It looks nice anyway mate

What the plans?

Besides this car i also bought a house, so need to get that finished before getting started with the Glanza.

Hopefully it will become as nice as my old mr2:
