briggers
just got quoted 800 tpft quite shocked but i think i have the details incorrect as i put 1991 gti as there wasnt an option for gtr so i dont know this is what my friend said as they dont have it on their recors they put it down as one of these as they have 2. gaz
What site? elphant.com had it when i tried a while ago. 1992 i think i put in.
montanajr
Briggers, that can't be right! I'm paying £830 (nice renewal eh?;) ) for the GT fully comp, for the 323 fully comp it was £1600!! Fuck that lol
briggers
well i suppose only a few insurance copanys will insure it but ill c as its lush and even more rare that the gt
paul w
Do not insure a car like that on a TPFT policy! They are proper cars with decent power that will be a lot more potent than your GT, will give you more confidence in the car so you push it harder and......well.......if you stuff it........i wouldn't want to be footing the bill for repairs! Do a FC policy and you'll find it wont be much more for a lot more piece of mind. The only time i ever did a TPFT was my skyline and that got fucked up with no claim on insurance possible...that was 2Ks worth of damage i had to sort or sell it. ecksjay
A 1991 whatever GTI is the UK model, so no, thats not the right car.You will need to phone a specialist to get a proper quote, otherwise it isn't insured correctly ;) some people list it on their online sites but the majority wont, so best to call round and see. Also fuel economy is crap, pulsars aint great but 323's are worse. ecksjay
they're a pain basically mate. I import alot of parts for alot of cars, the hardest bits to find are for the 323's. i spent months looking for my friend and it was nigh on impossible to find the stuff he wanted, and the bits you can buy are MEGA bucks.he's a rally diehard fan and knew about them from an early age, which is the reason he wanted one, however for your average joe it may not be the most ideal car as even compared to starlets, parts are a nightmare to source.Like i said, andy's came from newera, and however 'mint' they look in the pics, i'd take it with a pinch of salt. I managed to find alot of the import certificates for their cars and lets just say, that when they say they're 'Grade 4' etc, they're actually telling great bit fibs ;)Andy's was supposedly a grade 4, and its still on the site somewhere, however after he bought it i discovered that it was actually a Grade R, which could be anything from a scratch to a write off. Luckily we found out it was just a new wing that had been fitted (checking the part numbers), but some others may not be so lucky.I'm not shouting slander or anything, just providing some interesting information ;)If you want to come to bristol then you'd be welcome to take andys for a test drive, as i said he's desperate to sell it as he's had a brand new Toyota Corolla T-Sport Compressor for several months now. briggers
i doubt i will go ahead with it anyway as i would have to wait to sell the gt then get a new loan for the mazda. its the first time i have thought about moving to a different car, the starlet still puts a smile on my face but i just wanna feel 4x4 power. as i love the country roads round sussex
