powerslide
Hi there, Iam in the process of finding a new car, and a VERY nice looking Glanza V came up in Japan yesterday (best mate is an importer). I kinda need a few questions answering to make my mind up. What are the base specs for this car, I know its a 1.3 turbo and can be tuned to 180+ bhp, but wondered what a "almost" standard car would be producing?Does anyone know the real 0-60, 0-100 and top speeds?I know with it being Toyota it will be reliable, but are there any major headaches?Next is gonna be one of the hardest bits, does anyone know where I can source some standard parts (steering wheel, wheels, exhaust, air filter etc) to get it through an SVA?The car in question is a Jan 97 car and looks sooooo nice I must have it. Comes with EVC-R, SAFC, defi gauges, full system, awsome rims and is totally mint. I have only ever liked small cars so I think this one would fit the bill superb.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BlackTarw
ack! 97?... you wont be able to register it here...there's no model report available so you can't register a car younger than '96 I belive.
ecksjay
BlackTarw is correct, anything newer than '96 is a big no no as far as starlets are concerned.
Nanglebadger
Excuse my ignorance here guys, but how do 98 Glanza's get brought in then?? Cheers.Phil.
powerslide
mmmmm, I have been led to believe there were 97 cars here already, oh well, maybe a cheaper car would be better anyways, leaves more money for mods.Still, any help on the questions?
SiCaln
Yea man standard they are 133bhp, and they can be modded to 300bhp+
