SpeedFreak
I think she is getting an SR if I remember correctly. Although I do agree, it isnt worth getting a car until she is old enough if it isnt going to be used.

Galliano
out of all colours ive been looking into respraying my red paseo...i think im gonna be spraying it Toyota black... cheaper than selling mine (or trying) and buying a black one, and also to learn along the way.. wanna get my car turned around so i can strip the engine bay down reason behind wanting toyota black, is becuase it has that sexual sparkle ;)
SpeedFreak
I personally would not even think about what car I wanted to get until I had passed my test. From past experience, you never get what you want or do to it what you say you will.
Galliano
im 15 and already started doing what i wanna do also idrees has done what he wants to do... just enhanced it the day he passed his test lol
kaylee
its good if you have a car before you pass cause you know you got a car you want and can do what you want to it before hand, but also good to wait as you might no pass and have to keep taking the test and the cars just sitting there. im thinkin of getting one after I've done my theory test
SpeedFreak
What you have written above is exactly what happened to me. I brought a car as I turned 17, and I didnt pass until 1 year later. It made me feel worse that it sat in the garden waiting to be driven. Galliano - I see you as different, simply because you and Idree's have brought cars and done everything yourself to do them up which I think is awesome. Not many people buy cars whent they are 15 and spend time and money on doing it up.

minxy
I bought my starlet when i was 16 for the same reaosn. the price of drivings lessons these days are shocking, most young people can't afford to bhuy a car and pay for lessons at the same time. I'd personally recommend getting your car early it give you time to make it more your own and means when you are 17 you can have as much practice as you want. The only problem is you get impatient looking at it everyday, it did me good though i passed on 10 hours of lessons!
ecksjay
dont even begin sticking up for keighley. they're absolute horse shit, if you havent had problems, then you got lucky, but the car you bought WILL have been in an accident at some point, thats how they buy them so cheap
RobSR
^ yup that...you want to go and look at some of their cars...only to see shite they are...ive seen a couple of supra's from their...all complete with their faults, one including a proper hacked wiring loom. SpeedFreak
I didnt stick up for them, all I said was that I love how much people hate them and that my partner didnt have any problems buying from there. Maybe he was lucky. I believe what you guys are saying though, I have heard a few horror stories from that place.
