I've got my car on Koni adjustables with Apex springs and today I managed to hit 2 monstrous pot holes in Edinburgh. :D

Does these affect the shocks badly because I don't want them to be wrecked? :D

I just wondered how much pressure they can actually take. :p

your wheels will buckle before you wreck the shocks, its just a spring and a shock, it'll hit the bump stops and be fine i imagine, on the other hand alloy wheels are weak as buggery.

F**K! My car already hooks slightly to the left before I hit them. :D

One was on London Road and the other was on York Place. :D

yeh i think we should start a petition with the government to fine them if they dont sort pot holes out within a certain amount of time of us finding them because they can damage are cars badly and we have to fix the damage i think they should pay we pay are taxes to fix holes like them so why cant they be fixed

i hit pot holes everyday because im always drivin too quickly to dodge them or i cant swerve over to get past it because cars are comin the other way.

everytime i hit a big one, i can feel the pain!

shame, my shocks are probably gone.

If a pothole has been noted by the council in your area, and you then damage a shock or buckle a wheel etc before it's been repaired (by that I mean an arse of a job done in 5min with some tar and a handful of stones) You can claim for compensation. My mate blew a tyre and buckled a wheel and got the council to pay for the repairs.
