(not done this before)Family are on holiday so can't ask them, so am I right in saying you need the V5C (registration document), insurance certificate, and the MOT? Then you just go to the post office and say I need to tax my car.. bla bla bla... give them the money (£66 or something like that?)fucking stupid topic I know but wont be long before the post office closes Quote

Galliano Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 post offices around here close half day usually.you can drive it while you have no tax, but if you get pulled show them a print off of the dvla site where it says "you paid £66 for your tax.." or whatever.then they have no right to do you for it Quote

And it will state that its taxed.But as Galliano says, print off the invoice and you can show them it. I doubt you would get pulled though. When I order mine its normally here in 2 days Quote
