WallaceGlanza Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 The turbo will still be spinning but the positive pressure its generating will just be leaking out, it probably sounds different because its a different pipe thats popped off. From what you've described I'd guarantee its an intercooler pipe or hose that has come loose or got a hole in it. Quote

keirz Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 a boost pipe popping off sounds much worse than it is when it happens! i did it once on full boost and the fmic piping to the throttle body poped off and twat'ed the underside of the bonnet. properly filled my pants with cake. Quote
