Gavin Posted September 22, 2008 Share Posted September 22, 2008 Joined here way before i could drive and still i havent put up a thread so im finally getting around to it.I Bought a white ep for â?¬1500, 42000 miles, 2 previous owners.Since i bought it i have:Stereo CD/MP3Air FilterWiper BladesNGK spark plugsOil FilterOil & Performance AdditiveCleaned Engine BayRepainted Radiator BracketsBuffed Rocker coverAssortment of stickersPainted Brake calipersNew Floor matsRe-Painted the steel wheels silverGot rid of the green on the bump stripsAdded some stickersGot a 'carbon look' gear knobRacing Steering WheelRepainted rear bumperSquare Import Reg PlatesPictures to follow. 23/9Thanks for the comments lads.Any ideas or tips welcome!Here It is as it stands today except i re-painted the back bumper right after that picture.25/9Just in from a couple of 0-60 runs.Averaged 12.7 seconds.Its completely standard except for the interior bits.15/2/09Now like this!No bump strips 8/3/09Wheels are on, nct/mot is next saturday and then the lowering springs are going on25/3/09Fitted a Cusco rear strut brace, It really makes a difference when cornering. Stripped out the back aswell and im in the middle of taking off the sound deadening.29/3/09Removed the sound deadening and resprayed the floor today,3/4/09Fitted a whiteline front strutbrace and a cone filter, love the noise off it now.5/4/09Lowered 40mm this morning.18/4/09Fitted an Autometer tachometer with shift light and rear LED registration plate bulbs. 25/4/09Black bonnet and repainted bumper minus the grille, collected the illuminous green bonnet from the scrapyard at 9.15am and it was painted and dry by 1pm! Good work by the garage!2/509Got a glanza back bumper and spoiler fitted along with a 5' tiger backboxTints and Dtm mirrors aswell Rear adjustable sway bar.6/2/10Had a run in with a yaris on the ice. Currently stripping off bits to send the car for a near full respray on monday. 9/2/10Went down to the garage to have a look at it today, new wing is on, a lot sanding and filling is well underway!20/2/10Got the Car back painted last week, only got around to giving it a wash and putting the wheels back on today.Also got a new rear light because the old one was cracked. Cheers to Mat E for the light worked out â?¬23 off him and its â?¬85 from toyota over here.17/4/10Decided to get a decent photo of the fresh paint all polished up........on a helipad!!Project should be getting a bit more lively after I finish up college at the end of may and work for the summer. July to September 2010A bit behind on the aul project updates.I Worked flat out all summer and saved up to get a few bits in time for Japfest (Ireland) to go on display.Got a set of Recaros and Sabelt 3 points along with a Sparco Suede Wheel. Got - Rota Grids wrapped in Toyo Rubber - BC Adjustable Coiloversand gave the calipers and drums some fresh red.Polished It up and headed for Japfest Show In Mondello Park, Co. Gavin Posted April 4, 2009 Author Share Posted April 4, 2009 Cheers lads,Lowering springs are sitting on the floor of the garage with a panhard rod, fitting them tomorrow.Sprayed the floor with 2 gloss white spray cans, took about 2 hours, rubbed down with sandpaper, quick rub of white sprit and one coat of paint.(All the updates have been moved to the first post!)
