My cousins both raced their beasts on track, although the wide arch single had just been mapped about half hour before track closed so only got 1 run. kaylee Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 my weekend was mainly shyte! my boyfriend is such a arse at times i wanna kill him lol waitied all sataday for him to pick me up.. said at 12 hell get me in 2 hours.. 9.40pm he turns up 'hes been busy' drops me off at his for next door neighbours party and goes back out. so i ended up waiting at his as i was menna be sleeping, till 5am when he finally came in.. gave him a slap lol n he fucked off back out till half 5 lol then sunday i was hungover and ended up going with his sister horse riding then me n paul fell out again later that night cause i needed to get my stuff from his and he took the piss about picking me up.. and guess what??? hes fucked off out again, he told me to ring him at 10ish it rang 2wce and now its turned off ... hmmm and he wonders why i feel like punchin his face in!!! ... rant over lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Bourkey Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 @ Joey - MintMine went from good, to crap and to good again.It started good on Friday as my new mani gaskets had come but it just went downhill from there. I was fitting the gaskets and thought the rocker cover was looking a bit rough so i took it off for a fresh coat of paint. In doing so i snapped the PCV on the top of it. I thought super glue would fix it but it didn't. Plumes of smoke were coming rom the exhaust. They were like clouds and they covered my entire street. No joke it was like fog. So i pulled the PCV off to get a new one but i was pissed off and i pulled the whole thing out leaving half of inside the rocker cover. So i went hunting for a new rocker cover in the scrap yards around Manchester. Eventually found an n/a 4E with a rough looking cover. Flew it to my dads work where he polished it up like new. Put it on but the car ran like crap. I had flooded the engine with rubbish and fuel. My dad said to take it on the motorway to blast it out so i did.My foot was flat to the floor and it was only doing 65mph. Not good. Two minutes later the car choked and tons of crap came out of the exhaust and suddenly i was doing 90+. Now it drives like a dream .I missed the rolling road though which i was pretty gutted about.Bourkey Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Had stupid money spent on it!Hmmmm depends on the setup. Some of the big singles struggle putting the power down, there was a guy their with a stock twin turbo, his personal best was an 11.5. He had drag radials I think, and a boost logic auto box (hi-stall) now that was very impressive. He was seeing of most of the singles.Sorry for the hijack Quote Link to post Share on other sites
