John757 Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 You set the exposure time for say 10-50 seconds...aslong as you like really, this basically take's a photo for a couple of seconds, thus getting chance to soak up alot of light. That's why you can see the red and orange lights across the road...it's where a car has passed by when taking the shot and it's soaked up the light but not the car. It really is a great effect and makes things look awesome at night! If you can get on the hills with your car at night and get the moon behind it, I think you could make a pretty special picture.
