Ramsey Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 put a live feed to the motor, thats how i put the window up and now now you have my switches! then u no if its the motor. rule it out, check wiring fuses, power sorce etc. maby a relay sumwhere. eliminate one thng at a time and youll find your problem Quote
Kennedy Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 anyone know where the relay is? or which fuse it is i need to check? Quote
Ramsey Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 check all the fuses, none should be blown Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Press the button next to the window switch's - it locks the passenger window at whatever position its at, bet thats your problem.:harhar: Quote
Kennedy Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 haha nope..but does it only lock the passenger window? because if its pressed in my driver window still goes up n down :harhar: Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Yeah its just the passenger window it locks, at least 3 members have thought their window was broken because of that button! :harhar: Quote
Kennedy Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 lol..no ive tried with the button pressed in and not pressed in :harhar: Quote
Kennedy Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Just been to double double check haha..same as above :harhar: Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Oh well, do as Ramsey says and try a live feed to the motor then you'll know whether its working or not. Quote
cam13T Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Yes definately try a live feed to the motor, i had a similar problem a few months ago with a crook motor.Take off door trim get a bit of 2-core twin cable jam that on your battery and test it directly on the motor. Quote
Kennedy Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Sorted..turned out a cable hadnt been connected back properlyAs soon as i started taking the door card of it was obvious.I made the mistake of trying with the button pressed in on the driver side so was a bit gutted thinking it still wasnt working Quote
MattyCD Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 lol i love that button. confuses the shit out of people who get in my car and try light up a cigarette but cant open the window! Quote
