Pandamonium Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Hey,Firstly sorry if this is in the wrong place, no doubt Phil will move it later if it is.Went out to re-spray a set of wheels I have for the car, but id re-sprayed them once before, but the laqure was crap and started to flake.Now when i spray the wheels the whole thing just cracks and looks crap.Do i need to strip the wheels right back and if so how?Thanksmark Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Glanza Al Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 mmmmmm, sounds like it reacted mate, always fun ^. Make sure you dust the primer on gently and build up coats slowly. Or itll just do it again. Its because of the thinner in the primer/paint you applied, its reacted with the thinner in the lacquer/paint you had on the wheel before. Al.
