starlybruiser
Does anyone know what sort of polish I can use on carbon fibre? Ive heard that normal car polish for paint shouldnt be used for some reason so was just wondering what else can be used, also can a finishing compound like g10 be used to remove any dulling or marks, scratches etc? cheers starlybruiser
Keifer1903
my mate just uses normal car polish on his cf bits and they seem fine
Glanza_Ragger
Use a wax, not a polish.Polish cuts the surface slightly and will put swirl marks in the resin.Wax will just protect the resin and create a water bead Unless youve laquered the carbon bits, a cutting compound wont really touch the resin coat on the cf parts, it shouldnt dull.
