Dan Evans
ok guys, i took my glanza to the rolling road, got the figures n not sure if its good for the mods..basicly the only power mods done are, apexi airfilterde-cat and de-restricted first and second, currently running at 1 bar of boost.the end figures were,168.7 bhp, 172.3 torque, is that good?????????? ste91
Sounds a bit optimistic to me.

p15tle
seems quite high for whats done to it bud
Dan Evans
i was thinking that, but theres not alot else, a fuel cut deffenders on it, full system , but thats what it was pushin out....
Lee_EP82
You got an uprated manifold, fmic?
Dan Evans
nope, both standard, so far.
Glanza_cl
i think just under 170 is about right with just a fcd, do you have a rrfpr?obviously a mani, fmic etc will push up the bhp figuremy mate managed just under 170 at 0.8 with full suporting mods this was also under fuel cut. Dan Evans
no, as said everything is basicly standard so far, got all the goodies in the garage waiting to get fitted..just spent 600 last night gettin my coilovers
Glanza_cl
so your running 1bar with a fcd with no kinda fueling mods?
andy.i
and a tmic and standard mani?
montanajr
What boost is that?? Can't be standard boost, probably 1Bar and if you're running that with just a FCD and no FPR you've been very lucky not damaging your engine! Plus you've got the standard manifold on, you might have done a fair bit of damage tbh mate! Lean fuelling + restrictive 3rd runner ... oh dear!
Dan Evans
exactly!! unless this has been modded some way in japan, its bog standared, the guy who did it, said it holds really well throughout the revs, but hes advised a rrfpr. once I've got all the goodies chucked n it, we will see what it pushes out then lol
Dan Evans
well it all seems quite healthy and I've had no miss fires or splurts or anything since having it, so must be fine...
Glanza_cl
dude your being mega silly driving round without a rrfpr with that fcd!, whats the point in spending all this money when you might just go blow your engine.
montanajr
What FCD is it? If its a HKS; thats bad man! You'll be leaner off boost than stock, so I'd imagine you'd be very lean on boost at 1Bar. Do you not have a boost gauge to see what its boosting then?! Basic first mod tbh mate!
Dan Evans
its a jam fuel cut, I've got a fully forged engine ready to go in...but the fact is, its fine, I've had it since august, blasting it round as it is, no issues.....its never lost power etc,, so dont see what the problem is really...if it was going to go bang, it would have done it by now.and yes i have a boost gauge..
