Erik Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 HiI got a fe head for free now and wondered of using this on mye fte engine. Does anyone know for sure that there are no big differences. I see that there are different partnumbers. I think of porting the fe head myself so need the fte head in backup if it goes wrong.I have tried to search, but nothing to find. ste91 Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 The difference is the valve springs are stronger on the FTE (hence the higher rev limit).But yes you could port & polish the FE head and swap over the valve springs/cams and it should be fine. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
