jimmy77 Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 been on here for a while now and im gunna finaly put my build thread on heremy goal is to make a fast road / track cari piked the car up in poole and then the bug began here are a few piks of wen i 1st day i pikd the car up">the mods on the car werehks filterbailey dump valvekakimoto exhaust few blue silicone hoses jam sport fcdtype x ssr wheelstoytuning socksssr kyb suspensiontinted rear windowsno cd playerpritty much standard when i 1st piked her up rite oo guys and gals less get starteddrove the car for a few months with a big smile on my face, fitted a cheap kenwood cd player because was doing a fair few miles, to drown out the noise of that deep sounding exhaust lolorderd a hid fmic of ebay and was realy impressed with the quality of it">shiny shinyfitted the fmic also with red magnecore leads and an oil catch can.whilst in the air i fitted the kmh to mph speedo convertor and black sun stripcut the bumper to fit the cooler by cut i mean butcherd lol and also fitted mesh to protect the fins abit more">">got a smaller custom number plate made up to , and a reverse rear scooprite didnt do alot to it then for a whilethen jap fest was around the corner so decided to get sum new yoko tires grip v welland a momo steering wheel fitted a rear whiteline adustable anti roll bar">these are the shocks new ssr kyb the car looks alot lower on the front handel wel aswellalso green stuff pads 3g grooved disks at the front and new disks and pads on the backgot this sard dump valve of my mate rhys also some other goodies">all set for japfest nowhad a fantastic day on the pre jap fest day and met nick from tuning developments and was a real nice guygot a few vids but will have to add them l8erthe day before japfest my manifold crackd and was blowing :@ so used to tubs of gum gum exhaust sealent held up for a bit didnt last all day nvr mindafter japfest i started to strip the car down">in this picture ive basically removed the whole aircon including its a fair weight being removed nowtook the turbo off manilfold and decat offalso took the rocker cover off because is stinkin and needs a respraydrained oil finally got to oil filter aswell the 1st time since ive owned the car and was on dog tightalso took my alloys off so i can start refurbing them because they have seen better days">ssr type x wheels v light my fav wheeli got the tires taken off alot easier to refurb wheel">i was going to paint the lip blue and keep the center black but after going a bit mad with the spray gun i kept them bluei personally like them, ill see what they look like on the car if i dont like them ill just spray them again no biggy">also fitted the newly sprayed rocker cover back on the car with a violence oil cap from japfest">here is a sneek preview of what ill be fitting in the next few weeks">2x sparco monte carlo bucket seats curtosy of my butty rhyscusco lower brace">">earth stabilizer filter relocation kit and some other goodies purchased from japfestthe weight saving has begun">i will keep this updated when i start the nxt stagealso in talks with enzo for a hybrid spec to dateenginejam sport fcdkakimotor exhauststainless steel mani been re welded and braced because crakedzep racing decathks filter relocated to bumperhid fmicoil catch cansard dumpvalvehks actuatorlots of blue siliconeremoved all air con componentsto be fitted to enginehybrid turboalloy radgreedy ultimat emananage + remapoil cooler with oil filter relocationwalbro high pressure fuel pumpnew custom made blue silicone hosesfront side exitchassis/brakes3g grooved disks frontgreen stuff padsstandard rear discs mintex rear padsalso new caliper from toyota as old 1 was siezedtype sr suspensionwhiteline rear arb adjustableto be fitted to chassis and brakesfront whiteline arb 24mmwhite line anti lift platesbc coilovers / or teins depending how much i can affordrear cusco strut brace cusco lower barintierior and exteirorbonnet raised 15mmmeshed front bumperjam reverse bonnet scoopremoved rear whiperdark tints rearsabelt 4 point harnnesesmomo wheeltrd gear knobto be fitted interior and exteirorfinish spraying wheelsfit toms front bumper and live sports rear spoilerfit aero catch bonnet pinstrd sun strip and badgesin proccess of getting custom subframes made for seatsupdate 2nd junetaking alot of the standard hoses off like rad hoses ect and getting all custom 1s made up this week in blueso the car doesnt look so dull update 3rd junenot far from finishing my wheels now just rubbd and prepd the other 3 for painting will paint the 3 tomorow and laquare all 4 of them friday with about 4/5 coats of to pack laquare. also my mani has been welded and braced piking that up tonight:). payed for my custom made hoses. jimmy77 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Share Posted June 7, 2009 7th junebig day today payed for a hybrid turbo of enzo today pickd my newly welded mani up aswellas you can see in the pic hes added a brace on there so keeps the hole weight of turbo exhaust ect causing it to crack againpainted the mani and decat in heat prevension paint as you can see in the pic the decat is painted in heat prevenstion paint. ill be heat wraping the mani and deact when the heat wrap comes in the weekin the pic ive just finishd priming the other 3 wheels ready for paintingthe finished productin between coats of paint i was replacing my brake padsthese only lasted an hour on the track at japfestnice new onespads with the very rusty 3g grooved disks i fitted before japfestmy sabelt harness these are awsome grip you so well special thanks to my mate rhys on thesebeen a busy day today nice weather so made it alot easier.hopefully fingers crossed she will be up and running nxt weekend Quote Link to post Share on other sites
