Starlet__SR Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Been looking round for a Glanza or Gt Turbo, ideally i'd like one thats near enough standard, and in mint condition, is it worth me importing my own? Has anyone any recommendations for an import specialist? Like Sva imports? I know to keep away from Keighly and Wrc imports. Got around £5k to play with, if all else fails i'll stick with the original plan of buying a corolla T sport.Any help, opinions would be greatly appreciated. ThanksDamien Quote
Sparky Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 5k would get you a mint example budWhether it be an modded enthusiast example or a fresh import.Would probably go the fresh import route as it would leave you with around 2k to play with aswell Wouldnt get a T sport to be honest Quote
ady2k5 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 hi mateI've got a completely standard Glanza V i'll be selling soon in silver and manualYou can go the import route but its more expensive due to the poor exchange rate between the Jap yen and British poundThanksAdy Quote

Idrees Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 EK9s are lovely but personally I've had a 200+ bhp Starlet. Of course that's just me though, and yes I love Hondas before people call me a hater! Quote
starletno1fan Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 ek9 and starlet are in completely different league Quote
Sparky Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Meh dont wanna start an argument I wub EK9's but they aint all that, thats my personal opinion when I know someone with a B18 one, the GT would of raped it if I raced him when it was mapped. Was also all over him on a massive sweeping roundabout.Wouldnt stop me owning one though Quote

Of course that's just me though, and yes I love Hondas before people call me a hater!I like both, drove an ek9 type r and loved it, drove a TD04'd starlet but never had the option to really try it out.I'm not biased towards any car. Though my routes always will lie with vauxhalls lol:DDamien Quote

Plus, it's not all about the car, it's how you drive it too. Damien Quote
Sparky Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Okay I rest my case, that would be immense!! ^^ Quote
Starlet__SR Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Oh it was lol, i'll try and source the spec, proper tool, and it still looks like a stock type r from the outside:PDamien Quote
Starlet__SR Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Found this on pistonheads, not too far from me, does it seem a little too good to be true? I spoke to the guy about it, reason for selling was his insurance had gone up a few hundred pound due to declaring sone points, yet he drives a P1, i'm a little confused myself, any thoughts?DamienGlanza V Quote
Sparky Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Looks quite nice but seems a bit fishy with the points and all, just question him a bit more about it Quote
