Steve GT
Right guys over the last few months I've been noticing this a lot and although i know a bit about turbos i dint know everything and so do a lot o poeple. I've seen so many poeple ask what turbos do what what power what you need to fit one etc so lets have a nice thread explaining all about the different turbos that will fit a starlet.I know of the standard ct9, TD04/05/12 etc and i think the T2 turbos fit as well.anyway any other turbos can poeple name and can someone please explain what max power all of them produce, the difference between them, whats needed to fit them onto a starlet etc etc also what cars they come off e.g i think the td04's are mainly on subarus etci realise that this might take a while for someone to write but it will be worth it in the long run as evertime someone asks about turbos we can point them to this thread and im pretty sure out of the 4000 members on this site a big percentage would learn a lot from this threadso any help is welcome guys. thanks

Steve GT
yes thats useful but still a bit hard to understand would be nice if someone could list a few and put them in english apart from charts and diagrams lol
mcleod
any turbo will fit if you have money to make it fit etc and then time to waste waiting for it to kick in
Guest Enzo
il get to work on this, give me a few days and il compile a guide, il probably need to make a picture dump so people can submit photos of varrious turbos.or better still we could put them in this thread.does anyone have any photos of a tdo4l tdo4h, tdo5 16g, tf035. and maybe a t3?also we have all the vf series turbos aswell so if anyone could post up some pictures of turbos that would be great,

Guest Enzo
yea your totaly right.@Mcleod thanx for the photos.
ste91
I think it would be good also to note roughly the turbo's maximum efficient boost for example CT9 = 1 bar.And other things like minimum required mods to run the turbo, power range of the turbo, recommended setups, etc...It's very easy with a CT9 and hybrids everyone knows the score... but once you go onto bigger turbos it's not as clear. Guest Enzo
yea all input is welcome, just thinking about the layout and also how much detail to put into it,there are alot of jap turbo kits from the likes of sard, blitz, hrf etc which will probably have to be discussed aswell
ste91
Maybe draw up a graph in Excel then print screen it if you can't directly post spreadsheets on here although you probably can?

RobSR
I think it's going to be hard to compile a comprehensive chard/table as there is so many different varients of turbos/specs/trims etc.. I've got a couple of pics of a GReddy TD05 18G if you need em..Also g, I still have this chart in an excel table that may save you alot of time..
