Turbo Problem!

I drove to work this morning and decided to put my foot down,I couldn't feel the boost kicking in but noticed that it still is boosting normally on the gauge .anyone kno cheers

erm......

so its not boosting but it says it is on the gauge? you cant hear any high whizzing noises can you i.e boost leaking out somewhere

still though seems strange its still reading boost but not actually boosting?

have you got a standard actuator? might be worth getting one of them along with an aftermarket boost gauge for a more accurate reading plus aftermarket actuators hold the boost better

have you got these or is the boost gauge your on about in your post the standard one on the clocks?

if its boosting but not making power its probably a fueling issue, but that would normally make the car behave shitty.

I've got a toytuning actuator and a shitty halfrauds boost guage.it woznt juddering just didn't seem to have that little boost I had

i know this wont help but i had a simular problem on my gtir

if i tryed to hoof it before boost came in the gauge read normal preasure but the power wasnt there

it didnt stutter or nothin but just low power

so i had to get the turbo going slowly then hoof it and it was fine all 365 pony's

this problem was looked at by several people and it was never diagnosed.

Have you checked your manifold you know what they are like for cracking
