chr15_7_t_ Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 im not shure if this is a stupid question but this is just to double check.. im putting a diferent exhaust cam in my gtt due to the other1 is broken basicly.. do i need to do anything with the shims or should it be ok?and does anyone know the spacing between the cam and shim on each inlet and exhaust side? ToyotaTech15 Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Ideally any change to valvetrain, you should check valve clearances whether it be cams, valves, springs etc.I'm not sure where to get the valve clearances from and not sure if they are the same as the 4EFE.If the valve clearances are at least checked you will know if they need adjusted, Hope this helpsGary Quote Link to post Share on other sites
