huwr
For a few weeks my car has been whistling when accelerating and decelarting but not when travelling at constant speeds. But not a turbo whistle, more a kettle boiling kind of noise.I can see/feel no leaks in the exhaust or intercooler pipe work as at first I thought it was a boost leak.Performance doesnt seem to be affected much and the boost + vacuum readings havent changed. The noise seems to come from the passenger footwell area and is driving me mad. Any ideas?

Starlet__SR
Is it coming from the fuel filter? Has it ever been changed?Damien
huwr
Is it coming from the fuel filter? Has it ever been changed?DamienFuel filter was changed a few months back. I'd of thought if there was enough of a leak to cause air to whistle out then fuel woud be pouring out of it?
