Forging The Engine ?

ive changed my mind about changing the car so im planning to make my gt a " BEAST " lol.

im planning to forge my engine to strengthen it up and i was just woundering what i have to replace to forge the engine any help would be great thanks.

Steel rods, forged pistons, new main bearings, maybe a set of cruise valve springs if you fancy it.

The basics yeah, but if you're going forged, i'd advise giving the whole engine a once over, freshen it all up, it pays to do things the right way.

My shopping list would be/is

Forged Rods

Forged Pistons

ACL Bearings

Cruise Headgasket

Timing belt kit

Oil Pump

Water Pump

Thermostat

Oil pressure sensor

Full gasket set for top and bottom end

Machine work, bored out, notched, decked.

Then theres the head if your going extreme

Cams

Valve Springs

Port polish

Or just rebuild the head.

I have probs forgot bits.

Yep thats my shopping list i have brought the most expensive bits now for my build just a few more bits before i can do the bottom end then save abit more for the headwork

are ya able to put prices next to the stuff like head work etc because i plan on forging eventually and want to do it right.
