B11G KY Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I was on the Tgtt Fourm and i found thishttp://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44601Only problem is i would have to remove ma AC and i really didnt want to... any ideas of how i could fabricate the same sort of set up? with out having to move it ?Pictures would be most helpful Quote
StarletRick Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 you cant do anything without removing the AC. there is just no space to do it. you would have to have a REALLY tight bend and somehow get it going to the wheel arch or something. it wouldnt be easy at all. Quote
Steve GT Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 would be really restrictive as well wouldnt it riko with a bend that tightfraid the ac will have to come out mate but i did that first to mine anyway its never hot enough in this country to use the ac anyway plus it saps power and weighs quite a bit o id reccomend getting rid then you can get a nice cold air feed and filter relocation kit in there aswell lol Quote
toy Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I go with what badassracer69 is saying it never get hot enough for the AC anyway so take it out and ebay it and put the cold air intake there Quote
StarletRick Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 i would never get rid of my AC.... evar.not on a daily driver anyway. Quote

silverglanza Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hummm I really need to think about it!!!yes have to admit totaly agree with everyone yank a/c out loads more space to play with and easy to remove oil filter lol ill never look back Quote
B11G KY Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 Is it hard to remove? or should i pay if so much how much you think they will charge? Quote
Steve GT Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 its simple 4 bolts hold the a/c in and then i think its 6 bolts to remove the bracket. or 6 bolts for the whole thing not too sure anyway its simplesyou will need a a/c by pass belt there like a tenner or so from tm-developments and all it is is a smaller alternator belt that just misses out the a/c pumpeasy Quote
