hay, in the process of building a forged engine the crankshaft i have is heavly damaged from big end bearing failure and am looking to get a new crankshaft. i have seen a 4efe crankshaft and just want to know if it can replace the 4efte crankshaft with the 4efe! cheers

Im not sure if they are the same, wouldnt imagine there to be much difference,

Is your crank to bad to be machined and add bearings to match the amount taken off?

There is plenty of cars breaking just now just have a look for a fte one

My mate works at toyota and he had a look at the item numbers for each crank shaft

brand new for the 4efe and the 4efte as his crank was fucked etc and he said it was bang on the same crank shaft from the ep91 n/a so he got one second hand and its been sweet for 9k now without a problem and hes runing 210bhp :)
