Fitting Cusco Rear Strut Brace

Okay so I'm trying to fit my rear strut brace

The two round ends of the brace that are supposed to bolt up are blocked by the plastic trim from lining up flush (yes I've removed the two strut caps).

I just wanted to double check whether I would have to cut the trim a bit to get the brace ends to slide under the plastic trim before bolting it up?

You can get it under there without cutting it but it's bloody awkward and doesnt look good, easiest just to trim a little away.

Dragging this thread up from the depths as I'm trying to fit a Cusco brace and got the same situation.

Amjad - Did you end up trimming yours or did you manage to slide the brace under the plastics? Prefer to avoid cutting the plastics if I can.

Yes bud got to trim the plastic

Take the plastics out if ya don't want to trim them and save a bit of weight 😝
