My cars arse has always been too high, way higher then my n/a ever was and it was running kyb gas shock and some random springs, so i came to the conclusion they were 30mm springs.

So ive now swapped them for some 40mm springs, same as i had on my n/a and the ride height has hardly dropped at all, its no where near what my n/a was.

Now the only difference is the V has a panhard rod and the n/a didnt, when i had the car jacked up i was looking at the panhard rod and in my head i think it could make the car sit higher.

So question is does it? if i loosen it, should it drop more?

good input shaney, well done...

also, a panhard rod doesnt affect height at all. it just adjusts the rear axle to centre it when you lower it.

your NA had a panhard rod aswell, all starlets do.

Sorry i meant my V has an adjustable aftermarket one, my n/a had whatever the factory gave it.

Thanks aswell Rick, guess ill have to look at some other way of getting it lower.

Double sided sticky tape mate, the foam style stuf. One of my first ones blew off after about 6 months but i hardly put any tape on so this time ive covered the whole insides in tape and they have been grand.
