im getting a td12 turbo soon and i was just wondering what they are capable of.

and whats the best mods to get full protental from the turbo safly with out the risk of blowing it up :p any help would be great.

well obviously your going to need some engine managment... an emanage ultimate would be good

there capable of 200+ so on unforged internals you dont want to push more then 1.2bar.

and if your getting such an uprated turbo you should allready have all the compensating mods e.g. full exhaust, decat, fmic, boost controler etc etc.

yer im geting a new forged engine and fmic and boost controler etc soon when i take it off the road but i was just wondering like the maximum safe boost pressure and expected bhp out of it :p

think because its another hybrid of the ct9 and not a bigger turbo its still up to 1.3 bar and why not go for 250 :p use dub-seven as you inspiration. sure his on a gt spec was around 243.

^^^ they dont have to change the cams on a forged engine, it usually comes as an extra,

To reach 250bhp with a td-12 you will need forged intrernals and more than likely cams with head work.

They turbos are warrantied up to 1.3 bar so thats really the max,

So far its a good turbo but with not many results,

Also you are aware its a externally gated turbo, so a manifold to suit is required along with extarnel waste gate, uprated bov, relocated filter and uprated rocker cover breather.
