Raoul
Yeah a lot of older cars are sometimes not worth the money to keep them on the road hence so many imports. I think Jay put a post up on TGTT about the exact production number of the EP82's and 91's in Japan over the years they were sold. Looking around Google Street View in Tokyo trying to find Starlets is a fun game! Visit some of the tuning companies and you are bound to find some. We could always start a list of all registered members to put down their cars, but i think it would take quite a while.
WallaceGlanza
I saw less than ten glanza's and Gt's in the month I spent in Japan two years ago and that was doing a lot of travelling, I counted well over 60+ original mini's in the same time though. So they're certainly not common over there now.
addz
Japs kick their cars off the road when they are of a certain age. There are more on islands like ours than its native country - think the Aus have a few too.

Rhys249
I'm sure Ive heard somewhere that once a car reaches 100,00km in japan then they have to take it off the road.not sure if this is by any means true tho lol
