Ep70 (first Car Project) Lots Of Pics

i finally realised the my first starlet just needed to much work and have decided to abandon the project

but will continue with a new starlet. its an 89 ep70,1.3 carb. it has a really solid floor with no holes except a few were you just manage to fit your finger through

its already lowered 40mm with an ae82 spoiler

she just needs two front wings and maybe a bootlid which i will take off beatsie the first

will get pics up as soon as i take delivery off it i cannot wait

also its got nct the first car i have with some

took some parts off the old starlet

my kyb gas shocks and springs, will do untill i get some coilys

type r wheel and boss

side mouldings new starlet doesnt have them

tinted lights will not be going on

hello to all

i got my starlet on thursday but my internet has been down so im only getting pics up today

its a very solid shell all it needs is two wings,a bonnet,maybe a drivers door and maybe a bootlid as there some surface rust around the window

so when it arrived

tried out my tinted lights absolutly hate them

my interior, im loving the retro dash, anybody ever play the game with the economy light, when the faster you go it turns from green to orange

sturdy old carbrutter engines, its surprisingly nippy

bad repair to the rust

so speclist so far

hid xenon headlights ( was gobsmacked when i found these)

straight through exhaust(i cant sit in her )

car will be resprayed as soon as the weather gets warmer, but i have my junior cert coming up so work might be slow untill the summer. i just now need some more money, opinions,critisms and donations welcome

hey all

*update*

all of last weeks progress, not that much tbh

well got my exhaust welded on monday night 4" jap can at a slight angle. Its way to big imo

tuesday

i changed the rotten wing on the drivers side to a new secondhand one

wednesday started on the new dented but solid passenger wing

finished

friday

the alloys of my nova since shes lying in pieces

saturday

i went to put my rear shocks in but the springs that where in her look to be shorter than my wietec ones so they must be 60mm. Naturally i put the supposedly 60mm springs on my kyb shocks but the car sits higher now i was just thinking it was the harder shocks and the springs are in the little rubber cups at the top aswell

that there sounds really stupid when i read it now

fitted my other wing today so the plans are after my junior cert to paint it yellow im not sure on what shade yet though

so just got to save some monies first

today i decided to do a bit on the starlet as it was a scorching 6.5 degrees ;)

since the pics where taking i have added the other alloy

tidied up the engine bay

added a red bumper stripe ;)

it badly needs a front splitter

pic of the alloys (ignore the griffen badge)

and colour coded the wing mirrors

sprayed my front panel from black to silver, as usual its all bent

fitted my other sideskirt, still need to shorten it

Yellow rules, good choice.

If you need the paint code for the fiat broom yellow give me a shout, i have a broom yellow fiat seicento and can get you it no probs.
