DAMN toyota, DAMN them to hell

Recommended Posts

paid 180 bloody quid for 2 wheelbearings, 2 pairs of seals and 2 circlips , if thats not amazing enough ....

came to fit them today , and theyve given me the wrong size seals ;) ;) :p

so now my car will be sitting outside with no wheel, no hub and on a bloody stand with the little pikey chavs wandering around it , and i doubt ill even have the right ones in time for next weekend to fit :p

and the funny thing is , they said oh you probably gave us the wrong chassis number... er no 'because i double checked it and triple checked it just now lol

some days i really wish i was an axe murderer so i could run in there on a rampage and take the dippy part department muppet out "proper" B)

only been in there for "genuine" toyota parts twice now, and both times ive had the wrong parts lol.

1st time was a head gasket. they sent through some rocker bolts ;) ;)

Get them to get you the right parts next day delivery as it's their cock up! If they say they cant ask to speak to the manager and give him a proper roasting! They will be there pretty quick then i'm sure,it's amazing what can happen if you shout at the right people! Had problem at halfrauds once, when i was young and didn't know any better! I ordered a pair of corbeau bucket seats, the monkey on the desk didn't actually order them, twice! Shouted at the manager(politely of course) and got them buy one get one free! Try it,works for me! ;)

lol but if i were to order them from you wouldnt thee cost of postage make up for it ?

oh and this is the problem..

the seal cups on my glanza hubs are a lot larger than the ones toyota supplied me with. so what would the ones i got supplied with fit ?

are gt bearing seals smaller ? or sr's etc?

i can literally fit the new seals inside the current seal cup..

...better still, take measurements of the bearings load faces (internal diameter, thickness etc) and source them from another manufacturer. There are loads of them on the web specialising in bearings.

They probably wont cost you more than £20 total. The seals can probably be sourced the same with a bit of persistance. ;)

too late lol. took them back today, by all accounts...

they ordered abs bearings and seals, yet they dont fit mine..

i went on tgtt.com and threw the part number in on the search and it came up with non abs model bearings and seals lol..

went there today and the bloke showed the the workshop computer and it says mine are correct, for glanzas with abs.. so it has to be wrong lol..

theyve ordered me some "non abs" ones now, see if they fit. even though mine IS abs assisted ;)

gotta love toyota.
