BenV Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 fat splash gaurds for fring pans are ok i think bud, should be able to get one fairly easy to Quote
Glanza-Love Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 something like that would be fine.im running without a filter.. no intentional just no got a relocation kit yet lol Quote
Ricky@Race-Tech Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Mesh = FAIL.Yeah it'll stop larger chunks of debris, but small grains of dust and sand could be picked up and when they hit the turbo spinning at 19,000rpm, it causes damage. Run an air filter, dont be a mong.Any car you see at a show with no air filter doesnt drive like that.A turbo does over 100,000rpm's. If you see mine at a show with mesh on, trust me it drove like that Quote
Glanza-Love Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Maximum rpm the ct9 can take is: 195000rpmmaximum gas temp: 900maximum pressure 2.2 bar Quote
CRaZyKiD Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Buy a Siv from tesco.. for strining pasta stuff... that mesh is more ... hmmm, is dense the right word to use?CK Quote

Blair Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 ive got mesh on mine and its never done any bother...yetbought it like that and its been mapped like that - no probs Quote
ForresGlanza Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Does running mesh make a difference lol? Quote
Blair Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Does running mesh make a difference lol?the idea behind it is, it will increase airflow - so more efficient burnin yeah...BUT, unlike an air filter it is more likely to increase debris intake so it really is bad idea to some extent dependant on how fine the mesh is Quote
