got a starlet sportif, standard suspension, there is a big gap, would putting 17" on reduce the gap because i dont want to mess around with the suspension, bit of a newbie haha. also would putting bigger wheels on change the speedo or something, could someone please explain? ^_^ thanks james

it would reduce it a bit i think, but then the car would be sitting so high and they'll still be a gap!

best to get some lowering springs mate

Don't go for 17s dude, it'll look like a 4x4 on standard suspension ^_^

15s are the most common size, 16s if you want to fill out the arches a bit more..

Speedo should be alright with 15s can't comment on 16s but I can't imagine they'd affect it much

As above do it the "right" way and change the suspension, 17" wheels are no good on a Starlet.

Changing springs is quite simple and can be done in a few hours with basic tools.
