Just fitted some wheels of a mates starlet and now im getting a humming sound while driving. Sometimes when it does make a noise if i turn right it gets louder. now im thinking wheel bearing. I've jacked it up and the right side is knocking up and down abit, the left side is fine. But i was told if you turn right puts more strain on the left side which means the left bearing is going. But the hub on the left side is fine. Would toyo r888 tyres make road noise ?

When i come to a fast brake you can feel resistance in the brakes aswell.

Theres no clunking/or metal sound coming from it either.

any help would be handy!

last time i had a noise after changing wheels it was the tires but if it wasnt making the noise before id say its something to do with the wheels tires

hi mate, it doesnt. its more off a Hum/grind noise. It sometimes gets louder when braking slowly. Althought it does change pitch when i turn the wheel.
