car has been running sweet then yesterday the revs started sittin at around 2000 rpm when on tick over or when the clutch is pushed down can anyone help

its a grey connector to the left hand side of the inlet mani

ok thanks fella will try it and see if the intercooler pipe that connects to the inlet was loose could this cause this problem too??????????????

i dont thinkso mate. check the vacuum hose between the dump valve and inlet mani too

ok mate only ask because i could hear some pipe leaking it sounds like a water pipe sort of noise but it seems to be comin from the top intercooler pipe ?

check that your pcv valve isnt loose mine was and it made it rev high

it also make a leaking sound

might be the coilpack making that noise mate, mines makes a kind of buzzing noise

pcv valve is at the top of the rocker cover its a wee black pipe u cant miss it

i have tightened the jubilee clips and its still doin it

check it from the rocker to the pipe if u still cant tell take of the pipe that goes from the pcv valve and while the engine is running just put your finger over the end of the pipe should make a diff in idle speed

ok will try tomo as had enough today it seems to be one thing after another

it sounds as though u have a loose vacuum leak somewhere...if u've checked all the obvious places....check on the TB and in rear cases see the opposite end of the TB where you have that AC valve attached...that's on the left hand side of the throttle body when facing the car....

once I was racing and had that break off sending the revs up...
