micky boy Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Yeah mate the stock one will be good enuf for the job....In fact i think there is a high pressure oil pump for the Glanza/GT Quote
Zero Tolerance Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 yeah mate... I'm also running a 5e with some serious boost and found that the 5E oil pumps are a bit too week... I spun bearings twice within two consecutive days...if anyone know of any other oil pumps to be substituted plz let me know...the cost for a original toyota in my country is 126 USD...I bet just a few dollars more and I can prob. get a TRD one... Russleh Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 surely there must be other things you can mod for higher oil pressure like the oil pressure switch etc as im sure the oil pump wont be going at maxiumus as standard Quote
nastyrash 2003 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 thats right i just sim up the oil valve to get more presure. also a spun shell is more to do with incorrect bearing shell crush not oil feed problems. you did check shell crush wen putting engine together didnt you!!!!was it the same shell that spun the second time.
