flux Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Hi,this is a bit of a newbie question so apologies in advance...I need to replace my starlet stickers at the rear of the car as some of the letters have gone. Whats the best way to cleanly remove them without damaging the paintwork?thanks! Quote
paul w Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 heat them up with a hair drier and pick them off, then get sum stuff to take the remains of the sticky glue off. Easy to do. ;) Quote
miracle411 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Yeh, if your left with residue or adhesive just use some Tar Remover and rub it off, works a treat that. Quote
lobotomy Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Try petrol to get the remaining sticky residue off. Quote

lobotomy Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Yeah he's got one in troon -- Here's his websiteDunno if it would be worth coming from dundee to get some stickers off though! Quote
Idrees Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 pour some boiling water over it. they go really soft n peel straight off! if the colour behind where the sticker was is abit cleaner than the rest of the bootlid and looks daft, compound paste all the tailgate. Quote
GL4NZ4 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Anyone know if theres a way of removing the big Glanza stickers on the rear quarter panels without killing my the paint work?Just bought a Glanza yesterday and the Glanza stickers on that is in a mess, the garage says that they cant remove it properly without re-spraying so they are going to stick another set on top of it.
