First post - advice please!

Right, first of all, hello.

Right thats that over with - Phew!

Im new to the Starlets (very clued up on the jap scene - just not Starlets)

Ive owned Nova's in the past so i see the Starlet as a Jap Nova hehe

My old Nova -

Ive just bought a CAT C write off 1998 white Starlet SR

Needed a bonnet, O/S headlamp and flasher and a bit of gentle persuation on the front panel.

Sorted that (allthough the bonnet is red)

I was pondering on painting the bonnet but leaving a red 'Rising Sun' in th corner of it?

I'm not really big into graphics and paint effects and stuff -- but if you thought it would look good then give it a go!

i think you should do it to match the whole colour of the car, the more simple it is the nicer it looks.

although something along the lines of this pic \/ looks nice

i have a soft spot for novas like, my fist car was a nova gsi.

what mods had you done to your previus ride,

like the rims too, classic

on your bonnet, maybe try a few examples on photoshop mate to get a view of what it might look like??

Love that Nova if theres a rim for the corsa/nova then them speedlines are it!!!! Just like the speedlines on your SR there ;)

I would like to see a photoshop of the riding sun, i think it would look cool if not paint the centre black and the outsides black, oh and get the speedlines done gloss black

welcome!! if you want the idea of a black bonnet on a white car have a look in the extreme ep rides at the bottom of the page 1, if you want to gather some pictures in your head or for a photoshop, that pic with the bonnet with the thick black well middle bit black looks awesome mate
