Can you put a car through an mot with a de cat pipe fitted, I have heard you can as the cars are imports

If it's newer than a 95 then it has to go through a basic cat test as there is no engine code info for the glanza.I had this problem till I found that because my engine came out of a 91starlet just an idle test

Depends on your MOT garage too, some can just be complicated because they want to be hope you'll pass with flying colours.

There is a flow chart that you can print out for your MOT guy which can found on here somewhere, i did have it saved on my laptop but somehow it's disappeared, but yeah, all i did was printed that out and gave it to my MOT guy and said that my car doesn't need a cat test

Right found it, it's not a very clear chart but its readable

Not sure if this will help everyone as I said all garages are different or can be complicated.

correct ^^^ glanzas need a basic cat test while gt's before 95 only need a basic idle test which anything could pass

is all because theres no info on them on the VOSA database cause there only jap imports

things like scoobs and skylines shit out on this cause theres uk equivalents on these

check with the mot tester before hand to make sure hes aware of this
