Mine has had it tonight so out for a new LCD 37-40"

Around £400

I was looking at

LG 37LH2000

Or

SAMSUNG LE37B530

Or could anyone spare some time and see if they can get a better choice out of them 2 for my monies ?

can you notice the difference between full HD and just HD ready ?

This tv is for movies/Sky.

Thanks

I've had 2 LG's and both have gone wrong (Mother Board Failed) and the mother boards cost alot to replace so made sense for me to just buy a new TV went and got another LG and it happened again!

May just be me having bad luck, Haven't heard of anyone else i know with LG TV's having same troubles but if i was you i would go with the Samsung one the Picture quality on the Samsungs is alot better then the LG's anyway

My aunt bought this Toshiba Regza 37" 1080p recently. It is of course Full HD and the picture quality on my PS3 is stunning! I haven't experience HD Ready so I wouldn't be able to tell you about that, but this is a really good quality unit!

One of my Mate's has that Toshiba and it is Excellent Picture quality and he hasn't had any trouble with it,

Didn't realize it was under £400

I've been after a full HD 32" since the age of dawn and its been doing my head in lol.

Hard to get the perfect set for the money. Really have my mind set on an LG 32LH3000...

Have a look at the WHICH? magazine if you can they put stuff like tv`s etc through their paces and comment on things like quality of the product compared to others and the reliablity of the brand name. Really helpfull we got a dryer machine according to there recomendation and touch wood its still going strong after almost ~3yrs.

just my 2p worth mate i wouldn pay the £££ just for a "brand name" all screens are made in 2 factories and put in all tv's i have been told by a reliable source. (how much truth is in that i dont know but my screen is awesome on the PS3)

i bought the 32" version of the above link and its not to be faulted. 1080p, built in free view, 3 years warranty

just another option. and the other tv's can be good prices on there. have a look.

^Ooh I forgot to add, that Toshiba one I posted has one of the highest contrast ratios at that price level (Colours are deeper & more vivid) of 50,000:1

just make sure you have a 1080p one there by far the best. and a good contrast ratio. i have a 50 inch samsung tv in my house like 2million:1 contrast ratio. cant fault it
