rapidep
I have a 97 Glanza with some unknown make of suspension on it and everytime I am driving when I lift of the accelerator I get a knock from the drivers front wheel. I have had the wheel off, tightened the hub nut, checked for play, bang the caliper to make sure the pads arent moving and I still cant find itIt sounds a bit like the driveshaft is knocking when I come off the accelerator but I dont know if that is possible? It does not knock with suspension movement only when coming off the acceleratorAny help or ideas will be greatly appreciated as its started to do my head it now! ste91
You sure it's not the engine mount knocking? There will be a bit of movement in the engine if suddenly letting off the throttle, and there's an engine mount on the driver's side.

I will definately give it a look at though as im doing the cambelt saturday. Just annoying noise that I cant find
ste91
A mate had the exact same problem on her 106 and it sounded like you described - as if it was coming from the wheel, she even replaced the driveshafts and it was still there, later to be found out it was the engine mount.
