The red number denotes the recommended gear to be in for a particular corner, or at least thats what I've assumed.

my ps3 died last year so i dug out and wiped the dust from my old ps2. stick GT4 back in and found all my different glanza's again (yes i bought loads of them ), only game i ever found to have a starlet though

Kaido Battle 3 had a glanza V and an EP82 GT Turbo, just a heads up

I have all GTs from 1-4 including the tokyo and geneva motorshow games, gonna get a PS3 just for 5, love em, I had a purple lowrider glanza that had "hydraulics" on gold BBS's in GT2, oh how young and foolish I was.
