Hks Writers

im possibley getting my f-con and fcd fitted tomorrow and will be looking at getting it fine turned and rolling roaded in september but i rang monster motorsport and they said that only 'Hks writers' can tune a f-con, does anybody know who can deal with our cars in this way in the north west?

What Fcon you got buddy as if your fitting it with an external FCD, sounds like a PFC Fcon which can be setup by anyone as it has preset maps on, and dosent need the HKS software to adjust, afaik it has dip switches on for different maps, but If its a Fcon V Pro, then it will need to be mapped by a HKS power writer, but you wont need an FCD as it has one built in.

Cheers for the advise guys, as for which model it is im unsure but i do have a hks fcd to go with it anyway just incase.

I was gonna do it this weekend but after speaking to Ian im going to wait until i have a wideband and makesure it is setup and running perfectly as ive had too many problems with my car to skimp on summit.

mark its the f-con pfc you plonk any half educated fool can use a jewlers screwdiver to set the thing up, bring it round.
