siren676 Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 I need a new clutch and was thinking whether i could put a 5efhe clutch on a 4efe.Does anyone know if the 5e has a stronger clamping pressure?If it is the same can someone recommend a heavy duty clutch kit? RobSR Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 with a 5e clutch youd need a 5e flywheel that has a different bolt pattern to the 4e one, so youd have to have the flywheel re-drilled. you wouldnt need an uprated clutch with a -fe unless you were planning on turbo'ing it tho.. but if you really want an uprated clutch tho, buy a 4efte flywheel and an uprated 4efte clutch, and fit them Quote Link to post Share on other sites
