ro55ifumi
Definately genuine from your local toyota dealer an i'm speaking from experience of fitting cheap then having to pull it all apart again after the mani let go on all 4 cylindersJohn
Amjad
Any idea how much they are?I'm taking my Mani off for porting, should I need to replace my turbo to mani/turbo to cat gaskets too?
ro55ifumi
Mani roughly £17 an only if you split the units, so yes to the mani, turbo an again about £17 for that on too
Amjad
Cool! A lot cheaper than I thought it'd be, thanks for that! I've seen Turbo/mani Turbo/cat ones for 50 Euros on here! :SAny idea on how much the Turbo/Cat one is? As I wanna gut the cat too while I'm at it lol
Matt Glanza
Turbo to cat ones are about twenty odd quid maybe a bit more.u will need new bolts aswell because they are one time use nuts
Amjad
Thanks Matt! I'm having a nightmate getting the mani bolts off guys, tey won't budge! Any tips?
ro55ifumi
Impact driver, or a bar!!! they will be tight as it's prob first time they have been off just persevere an spray with some wd40
addz
I had driven my car down to my mates garage before attempting to remove mani bolts, I guess they were quite warm, hence why they weren't such a pain?Start her up letting her warm up a touch, I then guess WD40 it if you haven't already done so.Gaskets from Toyota all the way - pay the little extra for better quality
CLARKYTRD
have all gaskets u need if u want themmake me an offer!
Amjad
Addz that definitely sounds like it just needs to be heated up then! My ratchet was useless, when it's running I may just take it down to a garage to get the bolts loosened off, don't wanna risk snapping them!Heat shield was a joke though, one of the bolts has rounded off so I have a mangled (after trying to rip it off) heat shield that needs to be cut off now
